The Varioflex Lecture slatted base corporates 26 (light bent) flexible wooden slats of layered beech in a base 200 cm long. Wooden slats : layered beech (width 70 to 80 cm : 6 layers ; 90 & 100 cm : 7 layers) with a protective coating for high durability. Slats have wave-profile for optimum ventilation. Slats are fixed into flexible hytrel joints which are highly durable and give extreme flexibility and permanent resilience.
soft shoulder zone : slats in shoulder zone have 1 beech layer less. Adjustable rubber reinforcement adjusters in the lumbar zone to adjust the comfort of the zone. Slats/joints extend over the wooden framework ensuring no rigid central zone when 2 beds are put together. The frame housing adjustable parts in solid beech, varnished with 2 coats of lacquer.
