Optimum use of visco memory foam with the correct base foam is vital in terms of support and comfort. It's all about finding the right combination memory foam and high resilient foam to give you the exact type of mattress you are looking for. As such thorough pressure mapping and testing is an essential stage in all Komfi mattress development.

•Up to 7cm is generally regarded as the optimum depth of visco used. This provides substantial reductions in pressure to the key body areas and gives a medium to firm mattress feel.
•Lesser depths of say 5cm can give a firmer feel but still provide excellent pressure relief if combined with the correct base support.
•Deeper layers of visco up to 10cm can be used in conjunction with higher density support foams. This creates a mattress with a softer and more luxurious feel, whilst still offering excellent support and pressure relief.
